Finetoon Legacy Projects

Finetoon Legacy Projects

As an artist I am constantly searching for way to provide greater meaning for my work and provide a service to the world. I always felt that it would be great to memorialize exceptional people with my Finetoon drawings to tell their life stories. I was inspired to take action after the recent events of the Aurora Theater Shooting and a dear friend of mine losing a battle with cancer at the age of 33. I wanted to help the family members that were left behind by providing them portraits of their loved ones that tell the stories of their lives within a picture of them. Thus, the Finetoon Legacy Projectswere born. The first two projects that I will be doing will be fundraised and completed as gifts to the families. The first project is of Brian Hirsh, who lost a battle with cancer at too young of an age. This drawing will be gifted to his wife and two young children. A small run of limited edition prints will be gifted to Brian’s close family and friends. The funds will be raised via a Kickstarter campaign that can be found at www.kickstarter.com under “Brian Hirsh Finetoon Legacy Project”. The second project that I will be doing will be of one of the victims of the Aurora Theater Shooting. Look for more information on that project and subsequent fundraising mid-March.
